Arthroscopy Simulator Fund
A current need of the department is in the area of surgical simulation and educational laboratories; this is a national trend in all disciplines of surgical specialties, where the residents practice skill on a simulator before going into the operating room.
It also includes our clinical “boot camps” for the 1st year Residents. The department is currently looking for support for an Arthroscopy simulator to be placed in a skills lab environment to match and exceed other resident programs across the country.
The department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University continues to maintain a high caliber of excellence. As surgical education is changing rapidly, it is our duty to make sure that both our medical students and residents leave our doors equipped with the best clinical and academic training possible.
Gifts may be made to this account on an annual or one time basis.
For additional information please contact our Orthopaedic Development Officer, Elizabeth Elkas at firstname.lastname@example.org or 317-278-2122 to learn how you can help.
